Ronaldinho have sixth sense?

Ronaldinho insists he “could sense” he would score a crucial goal when he stepped off the bench against Lecce.

Milan were stuck fast to a goalless scoreline in stoppages on Sunday night when Philippe Senderos headed Andrea Pirlo’s free kick on to the back of Dinho’s head, the deflection leaving the goalkeeper stranded.

“I was pretty motivated and really wanted Milan to go home with a victory,” he wrote on his ronaldinhogaucho.com blog after what turned out to be a 2-0 win.

“When I went out on the field - I can’t explain it, but I was sure I could help the team make it. I could sense it.

“I ran towards the ball, a little off balance, I leaned my head, stretching out for the ball, which changed its trajectory and ended up going out of the goalkeeper’s reach. Goooaaal! What a joy!”

Ronaldinho was also involved in the second goal moments later, his backheel flick sending Andriy Shevchenko down the left channel to cross for Pippo Inzaghi’s diving header.

“The night ended exactly how I wanted and my return to Milan couldn't have been better!"
