The calcio community continues to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Abruzzo as Milan are trying organise a friendly against Barcelona.The Lega Calcio, Fiorentina, Catania and Napoli have all committed funds to the appeal for the quake victims.
And now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Barcelona have contacted Milan to suggest a charity friendly match.
“I phoned my friend Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani to propose a friendly to raise money for the families affected by the tragedy,” Barcelona chief Joan Laporta confirmed to journalists.
So far, 250 people are confirmed to have been killed in the earthquake that hit L'Aquila early on Monday morning.
