Carlo Ancelotti is “the most sought-after Coach in the football universe,” reveals transfer guru Ernesto Bronzetti. The tactician’s contract with Milan expires in 2010 and he will be released if they fail to finish in the top three this season.
“Ancelotti is the most sought-after Coach in the football universe,” said the specialist in the Liga market.
“He is wanted by Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Roma.
“There is a great fondness between Ancelotti and [Vice-President Adriano] Galliani. Because of this they will only decide what to do at the end of May.”
The Coach has won the Champions League twice and reached three Finals, also lifting the Scudetto, Coppa Italia, Italian Super Cup, two UEFA Super Cups and the 2007 Club World Cup.
Real Madrid are also very keen to bring in another Milan figure, Kaka, but Bronzetti does not hold out much hope.
“Real still don’t have a President, although what I hear in Spain suggests Florentino Perez has it sealed up.
“He will make three big splashes on the transfer market. His main dream is Kaka, but it’s going to be very difficult to pry him away from Milan.
“It’s going to be a very quiet summer for most clubs compared to past years, because only two sides have any real money – Real Madrid and Manchester City, with Chelsea and Bayern Munich lagging behind.”
Bronzetti also commented on how Inter can move forward following Adriano’s decision to take a sabbatical from football.
“As a fan I hope Adriano can get back on track psychologically. Of course if before we were talking about a player worth 35-40m Euros, then now Inter must loan him out until he can find himself.
“It won’t be easy finding him a buyer because of the many problems he has had. There are still many who admire the Brazilian, but they certainly won’t invest heavily in him.
“Adriano keeps saying he wants to quit, then begin again. He needs to find someone who truly admires him, but with his wage demands it all seems very difficult.”
